Besides showing the Boom Rig for the European market for the first time, we have some additional releases at this years’ IBC.

Minimax Flex

After listening to feedback from customers, we have now released a Flex version of the Minimax, which is designed to fit female camera operators much better. The Flex vests are not made strictly for female operators, it can be used by anyone that prefers more support around the upper part of their body along with added adjustability.

Counterweight for boom poles

Using a counterweight on the boom pole when it is attached to the Boom Rig will greatly improve balance and reduce the strain on your arm that is guiding the boom pole.
We have designed a counterweight that can be attached to most boom poles and is adjustable with a strap. It weighs 1 kg (2.2 lbs) and should be attached to the end of the boom pole.

Boom Rig vest

The Boom Rig vest (without the support arm) is now available to order. 
This can be a great purchase for sound engineers who don’t necessarily use a boom and only use a mixer.
